For those freight forwarding contacts we made over the last few days in Shanghai, and anybody else who wants to know, here are a few words about what CCL is, and what CCL isn’t:

We do not control the routing of any traffic.

You can send your DDU and DDP consignments through to us and we will handle the consignment securely, door-to-door, taking care to act on your strict instructions and securing future business that you will benefit from.
Our services are unique in the fact that we are not forwarders, so we have no interest in your direct customer. Our interest is purely and strictly with you. We’re a service provider to the industry and we don’t compete against you. That makes us the perfect partner.
In this day and age and cost competitive climate, many so-called partnership agencies will service your account then back-sell the business for their own greed and gain. Eventually the business will disappear, leaving you without business, angry and disappointed as your confidence and trust has been betrayed.
We do not operate like that.
We offer you a service; we do the work, you pay the invoice and we are all happy. We will protect you, your customer and the freight from point of port to final destination. If a DDU situation, we’ll protect your charges before delivery of the freight, keeping you in the loop and updated at all times for general communication and peace of mind.
